My weekend looks like it will be mostly spent with my nose in the various volumes of Terry Pratchett's Watch series. I'm on the second one and there are (counts) five more to go.

So this is my weekend:

I blame [livejournal.com profile] kainosite for this. [livejournal.com profile] kainosite recommended the Watch series, and I - who had previously read only three Pratchett books and kept putting off diving into the entire oeuvre - foolishly and wisely followed [livejournal.com profile] kainosite's advice. All hail [livejournal.com profile] kainosite.

Back to the Watch's attempts to figure out the Gonne.

Sounds like you have a great weekend ahead of you!

I always preferred the Granny Weatherwax books to the Watch ones, but both are pretty cool.

Buwahahahaha!

There's your weekend gone. XD

And then you can write us a crossover where Vetinari hangs out with Bercow.

They get progressively better until Thud!, too, which I and Abigail Nussbaum hate and every other person on the face of the planet apparently loved. Although Thud! probably better if you haven't read the Granny Weatherwax books yet. (Which are awesome too. You'll also likely to appreciate the university politics in the later wizard books.)

I haven't read Snuff yet, so you'll have to tell me if it's any good.
